My first published book, Can't Sit Still, is a biography of my late father, Jim (Tjebbe) Kamstra, who had a large influence on the person I am today. 

This book is an anthology of COVID-19 reflections compiled by nineteen local authors.  My contribution, entitled Pandemic Poetry, lyrically highlights our life-changing experiences that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

The Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary is a mountainous wilderness area in Belize.  In 1986, just as the reserve was being established, I conducted my Master’s research. This book provides educational insight into the history, geography, flora and fauna of this unique protected area.
